Not sure what you mean? We were talking about large swath internet outage in western TN

Got the wakeup call. Sirens on.

Yup now I'm up in Nashville.

Selmer got hit earlier in night. People dead. Rescuers on scene and they had to stop their rescue because another tornado was coming.

Just radar indicated rotation according to nashseverewx, but big hail reported. Sounds good in terms of not producing a tornado on the ground.

Sirens on from around 2:45am and 3:00am here in Franklin, TN. Clear for the time being… can’t go back to sleep with all potential in the coming hours.

Yeah, that wasn't fun. God bless those who got snuck by this shite in other towns.

Here is a before and after of one of the Arkansas tornados earlier. Took a solid old brick house down to foundation which means at least an EF4 by definition.
EDIT: This is why you shouldn't listen to weathermen who say "go to an interior room." That's not gonna do shite for you when an EF4 plus hits you.
If you want to survive while above ground, you need a safe room specifically designed for it. Usually those require steel reinforced concrete (about a foot thick) or a solid steel shelter that is bolted to a nice concrete slab.

For sure. It’s amazing how fast these things pop up and move through.

Siren just went off right outside Belle Meade. Woken up at 2:30am and it said it was headed right to us and went south. Lucky.

Sirens going off in Franklin TN again.

Round 4 of sirens here, I need them to make a call on school. There is plenty of mess still to come, even if not tornados.
Posted on 4/3/25 at 4:56 am to calcotron
And they just called it, no school.

No sirens here now, but damage all over the state. Waiting for light to go see if we have any.
And we still have 3 more days of rain and storms

Yep. Easy call when everyone has been awake from sirens all night.

Going off all night in Nolensville too. Most have been for the storms in west side of county but the last one got a little dicey here. And the one down near Columbia looks like it is serious and might get close to us.

Yeah this NW Columbia system, heading into Spring Hill looks a little serious.
