The nextdoor for CH has a post about a guy getting beat up in his front yard a week or two ago that apparently just passed. I haven't heard a thing about it anywhere else though. They also said it was a personal thing and not a robbery, break in, etc.

And a doctors wife was pistol whipped and robbed in my neighborhood back in the spring in the middle of the morning with her kids watching a video in the car while she brought in groceries.

Yeah 6:30 AM - Apparently the girl had left her car somewhere the night before. Had a friend pick her up and take her to get the car. Returned home, and as she pulled in the driveway - he pulled up behind her and robbed her.
Unsure if it was coincidence (he saw her and said - why not?), or if he was watching and following her.

Ahhh. Had a house on St Landry and lived in an apartment on St Tammany when at LSU.
