Here’s a YouTube video of a nest. Looks like it’s in his back yard?

Ole Cajun Yellowjacket nest.

A few things:

1) Why

2) Nope

3) Fire

4) I nominate this as one of the trashiest things I have ever seen- the car, the yard, the tenements around the yard, and allowing infestation like that- seemingly on purpose as he notes “it’s been a while since he checked on the nest”

Thanks for the video, now I realize what I have in my back yard. I thought it was some type of wasp, wasn't exactly sure. I had one about the size of a basketball near a tree in the back. I used a small torch which took care of most of it. Bought a big torch for a big propane bottle the other day, going to finish it off soon.

i was wondering where they came from then he showed the interior of the car

there is no solution here except to burn the entire yard.

when I was a kid I learned they could fly than I could run. Felt like I was getting shot in the back.

I’ve lived in South Louisiana my entire life (most of which in a very rural area), and I’ve never seen a yellow jacket nest.

That would probably be one of the worst ways to die.
