What year did you graduate? I too was a kid in Winnsboro who enjoyed the festival. I remember how much of a let down it was when they stopped letting them sell crawfish inside the gates. We always went to to Wallace produce to get them after that.

I went one time probably about 10 years ago. It was hot as hell and no beer was being sold. WTF? A festival in Louisiana with no beer available. Never went back.

I would assume it being in Wisner would make it a little......less colorful?

You need to tell your boys to do a better job of promoting where you can get guaranteed US catfish. And also do a better job of getting it in restaurants. Yall should have every restaurant in downtown Covington that serves catfish.

Went to his announcement ceremony at a cemetery next to a field in Wisner. They have plenty of room for expansion. To get there I drove thru cotton fields on a gravel road that was mostly dirt when you get to the cemetery.

Harings Pride cooks it up fine. Their processing plant is just out of town. Have their own line of hushpuppies and seasoned fish fry as well.

Better learn your history baw. The Harings have been in the catfish business for many years. Raise shiners, catfish, have their own feed mill for catfish feed, dogfood, deer corn, etc.
