100% capacity. If someone is scared then don't go.

Bars should be open as late as they want to be

Honestly I forgot what phase we were in.....I’m glad I live in a city where the mayor doesn’t give a frick about JBE’s restrictions

No shite, any bar/restaurant/business in Lafayette still following any guidelines at all is 100% doing so because they want to.

Or because the ATC is making them.

Lafayette’s mayor-president doesn’t override the ATC or State Fire Marshall

He needs to loosen up the damn indoor shite so seniors can have a fricking prom and graduation for their families to attend to. Just make them wear a mask if it works so fricking well. This 25% indoor shite is dumb and also dumb that outside is only 25% too. Open it to 75% and let fans go to baseball games.

I don’t know how she’s pulling that off. I have a trip to the bvi coming up and they still have some strict rules. Quarantine for 4 days upon arrival is one

sports capacity needs to move to 50%.

And bars need to be open until 12. I can compromise with 12, but 11 is too soon

Shouldn't be how it works. At all.

You're grown, sane, hard-working adults. You should be able to decide for yourself if you want to fully open 100%, close, have whatever capacity in your business/establishment, decide when to open/close, or whatever. Don't let the cock sucking low lifes in the government decide what you should do with your business/down time when you know damn good in well that they have no intention of public safety whatsoever. That's fricking bull shite.

Yeah this is the only issue here in Metairie. A bar I was going to sometimes that had been pretty relaxed with the rules and the ATC paid them a visit and things were tightened up the next time I went in. The bartender was even wearing a mask and she hates doing that.

That's where we're headed for September. JBE got his marching orders -- enough is enough. We want Tiger football and we want it NOW

Pretty much nowhere I go to dropped back to phase two setup. Bars obviously got hit hard though.

I don't see how the requirement that bars must close at 11 p.m. does anything to "stop the spread" when bars are already subject to capacity restrictions while they are open. In other words, what difference does it make when a bar closes if only X number of people are allowed in at any time?

I can't imagine how much it sucks for these kids to miss out on some of the most memorable events in their young lives.

My wife and I went and had some oysters and a few drinks last Friday night. Bar at the restaurant was packed shoulder to shoulder. Not many masks on people walking around. I think most people have been over it for some time now.

Correct. No one cares about JBE's little rules.
