Sonic got rid of them for a short period of time. During that time their sales dipped. They were then rehired and sales rebounded. Either they are lucky as frick of they are really good at what they do. You are talking about them on a message board and you may even eat at Sonic (in spite of them...or so you think!). They seem to be good at what they do.

I've actually thought about starting this theas before. I can't believe they're getting support at all, let alone as much as they've gotten so far in this thread.

You want to really get mad? Think about how much money they've made over all these years doing those commercials.
I used to do some work in commercials, and I'm familiar with the pay scale for national spots like that-- believe me when i tell you that both of those guys are most likely millionaires (or very close to it) based just on the work theyve done in those ads over several years... Nice work if you can get it.

The darker haired guy has been a bit actor for a while. He had a pretty nice supporting role in VEEP

The effeminate Chevy pitchman has the most punchable face on TV.

The other guy has been in other things too, most notable to me being a police officer in The Ice Harvest.

Lighten up Francis, they are funny as shite. I actually laugh at those commercials, unlike 99% of the rest of them on TV

Aren't all the ads filmed at the original Sonic in Oklahoma City?

When a particular ad campaign starts to annoy you, it's a sure sign you watch too much tube.

The one that irritates the shite out of me is the guy in the man bun and skinny jeans that calls that Chevy station wagon a bad mamajama. It makes me want to break something, and never buy another Chevy.

Most ads are annoying. They are written for the stupid. One that I actually liked was the Shark Week ad with Seal singing on a dock.
It was funny but after being played in heavy rotation, even it has gotten old.
