Someone spit on my car - need some help

So I walk out to the parking garage at my place of employment and I see a huge wad of spit on my windshield with a note.
The note says" Nice park job A***hole...you're so special you get two spots? F*** you Prick"
Then I walk over to the door and I see another wad of spit on the driver's side.
Now, I do drive a E-Class Mercedes and I was parked in an area where it "appears" that I took up two spots, but the parking attendants/staff removed the parking line. So there "was" two spots,but they merged them into one.
I want to find out who did this and call them out on it. I talked to the Garage attendants and they don't have cameras that cover that area.
This is one of those cases that I am more than willing to chase even though I won't get a penny out of it. It's the principal.
Any suggestions on how to find out who did this?

Drop it. Had someone break into my car with a brick and bend the shift handle around the steering wheel. At least you know why, I dont.

Collect said saliva off your vehicle, then proceed to ask every person in your metro area for a saliva sample, then pay to have each sample tested against the spit on your car.
