Just picked this up off Nextdoor.com after seeing a metric frickton of cops on Flannery from Millerville...

quote:

Dead, shot up body in road at Flannery and Jane Seymour

Looks like someone left a dead body of a black man at the intersection lying on a blue tarp. As I passed by some onlookers were commenting that he had been shot up. Neighbors around me said they did not hear any shots.

Shot-up body left on a blue tarp in an intersection. Keep your North BR shite in North BR.

He said he would check it out once he left the Golden Corral.

That’s still a pretty good neighborhood. Crazy.

If they didn't hear any shots, he could very well be a failed parachuter.

I wonder if this has anything to do with that rapper who was killed near Millerville last week. Didn’t the news say his death was because of an ongoing feud with another rapper.

ETA: I found the article. LINK

There's a really bad neighborhood and a Section 8 apartment complex right across Old Hammond.

I think that's across the street from Target essentially. Flannery runs through the neighborhood. Also seems like a very public place to dump a body.

Flannery is where they moved the light on Millerville, just in front of Lowe's. The area across from Target is The Greens (where Golden Corral, Freddy's, etc are located) while the neighborhood across from Chik-fil-A is a separate neighborhood from either of those.

I'm wondering if he was dumped there to send a message to someone nearby or if he was dumped there just because there happened to be no vehicles around at the time of the dumping.
