It's easy for a dude to choose a schlong, know its wrong, and then blame it on something that's out of their control.

I would concede that a scant minority are born with very strong "gay" tendencies. But the decision to live a "gay" lifestyle is all on them.
As you alluded to, others are born with or possess other strong urges and tendencies that they must also overcome. In the finality, we ALL must overcome overwhelming (at times) urges and maintain self-discipline & control. We are not animals.
P.S. -- Yes, "praying" to the Almighty DOES help control urges and surrendering to, "Do what thou shalt".

Or, and maybe this explains things more clearly, how long have you been trying to repress those homosexual urges and likely failed quite a few times? Don't worry, unlike Christian fundamentalist brothers, I'm not here to judge you for your completely healthy and natural sexuality.
And don't worry, in case you havent bothered to question what you were told to believe, your Christian god and religion is nothing more than the winning outcome of a long, fluid, often haphazard process of early human social evolution thru human myth building and parables that competed to provide answers to existential questions humans began to ponder, and to establish contemporaneous moral codes of the group/tribes/leaders authoring and/or organizing them.
That as a byproduct(or possibly it's core intent in many cases) offered incredibly powerful means of societal control and influence over ignorant people that could be institutionalized and used as a counterweight to present ruling structures. Created by merging loose retellings of compelling historical occurrences and events with new and old mythological stories of earlier eras like Greek, Roman, and Mesopotamia....likely aided by a good deal of psychedelic drugs to help the creative process.

As I've already stated and conceded, there are people who are definitely born with "gay" tendencies and urges. There are people born with over-active sexuality; violent tendencies; In other words, most people must engage in self-discipline and self-control to be functional in society. PROBLEM: Your ilk not only no longer want to control this urge; you no longer just want to coerce and subvert others into ACCEPTING your public urges, you want to coerce, indoctrinate AND condition others into embracing it as a lifestyle / CULT.

Now the problem is when YOU, or anyone, think they have the right to impose YOUR morality onto them, or to deny them rights afforded to heterosexual couples.
