There are a bunch of shitty tenets littered in both texts, and when you have a lot of shitty tenets in those texts, and you use it like a buffet, pick and choose what you want, massage interpretations, some people continue to pick out and use those shitty tenets to justify shitty beliefs, shitty behavior, and shitty ideologies.
And who are you to say their interpretation is wrong or get to decide which tenets are now dated or which remain relevant?
I mean do we not have people in this very thread using that same bible to justify their homophobia and anti-gay sentiments? Or is that one of the "good tenets" still?
