LOL Not at all. I said a prayer for the kids. I didn't hold a seance. And I only mentioned the beer because this was obviously a poor white trash family and I'm sure the beer was the only thing that was paid for by them in the entire cart.

LOL Wut? They don't allow that where you are? You certainly can here. I've bought both wine and beer at the self checkout, the manager just has to come key in your birth date and approve the sale.

I'm not a wannabe lol I retired after 25 years in the military as an MP, then a CID investigator, then an MP again.
I don't carry every day any more just when we go to certain places where my wife is more comfortable if I am armed , and we happened to stop at the store in town after being in one such place.

Didn't something like this recently happen at a park? Some kid got away from their parents, while the parents were playing softball or something. Some dude finds the kid and tries to help the kid find it's parents, but then the dad got all pissed because he thought the dude was trying to steal his kid?

I honestly have no idea. I just thought it was a weird way for this mom to react and worth a laugh to retell.
