Biden will probably give them $10K toward initiation and then forgive the debt when they don’t pay the dues.

I met some Jack arse a few years ago at a party who had just moved down here with her family - and she was complaining about how the BR country club automatically tells no to black people

So I asked her if she knew any black people who had tried to join, and she said no bc she had just moved down here - well no shite. She had no concept how many people, not just blacks, are told no

That's fine & dandy, I'm just surprised at how tender every one is creating this fiction that a private club for white people will be overran with imaginary POCS, who could care less, if they existed.

In the 80s there was a no Jews sign.

Webb park (westdale country club) (20s) was originally the country club that allowed Jews and other undesirables (italians, irish), then Sherwood Forest CC (50s), then CCLA (80s). Don't know if BRCC has its first Jewish member yet.

A lawyer, now deceased, who was widely believed to be Carlos Marcello's inside guy in Baton Rouge was a member of BRCC. His descendants still are. So you could be mobbed up, you just couldn't have the wrong surname.

So, unlike CCoLa, who allowed Master P (who never finished paying for his pool install), BRCC is a little more exclusive, even if you have money??

Master P and C Murder both lived in CCL for a time. It was rumored that Snoop had a house there too. My buddy and I would always ride our bikes to P’s house just to see if we could catch a glimpse of him or Snoop but never did.

BRCC wasn’t even that fond of Catholics for the most part. They had some because it was basically necessary, but they definitely frowned upon them. It was an elite WASP club

I’ve been to both BRCC and Sherwood back in the 80’s and Sherwood Forest hands down had the most beautiful women. It was literally jaw dropping. The roast beef poboy at the 19th Hole Grill was the best I’ve ever eaten.

Camelot Club on Saturday night and Sherwood Forest Country Club buffet Sunday lunch, man I miss the 80’s.

Dad would come in and say “Get some of your friends and go eat at the Club. I’m $500 in the hole this month and they are going to charge me anyway.” We would swim all day and go eat all we could at the 19th hole.

There were no prices on the menu. The members were the only ones that got me ones with prices. One day at Camelot I got the price menu. I’ll never forget the shock. I had just signed for a bunch of stuff over the years. After that I slowed my roll.

POCs are more welcome at the BR Country Club than non-POCs are welcome at Club Bella Noche.

I can't afford BRCC, and I ain't welcome at Bella Noches, so where the hell can I go.
