Obama left this country more divided then ever. Yeah you keep believing your polls. See what that got you at election time.Last time I checked the popular vote don't mean shite come election time except when you crying whiny people lose. Trump has changed his tune and said he wants to unite this country unlike the last president that signs many executive orders regardless of what the majority wanted. Protest all you want but the election is over and it's time to work together that is if you want too. We have the presidency, house, and the Senate.

Skimming through this thread and one thing that I'd like to point out is when karma says, "I don't have to defend my beliefs." If you don't or can't defend what you believe in, do you really even believe in it? That statement is a huge cop out and basically summerizes my issue with the majority of the left.

You want the truth??? Trump has not threatened to take any RIGHTS away from any group you have been discussing. Removing taxpayer funding is not removing a right. Just admit that your ilk is afraid they might have to foot the bill for birth control, abortions, some of your healthcare, etc. The arts should be privately funded, if it's legit like the symphony, PBS, etc. people will fund it. The left needs to stop thinking that taxpayers should foot the bill for everything. If the residents of BFE South Dakota want a symphony then they should fund it, if some women's studies major at Cal wants an abortion she should pay for it, if you have a preexisting condition you should be able to get insurance but I shouldn't have to pay more to make yours cost less. Do you get it now? No rights are leaving but the funding might be.
