I've been hearing about "surges" for the last month. Every time I hear about a "surge" I go to worldometers to verify if what the media mob articles are saying is true. What I usually find is the typical "in week" oscillations that naturally occur because of lag testing over the weekend. Literally every curve has these... late week "surges" are just the catch up from the weekend results filtering in slowly. Sort of like saying the 600 new cases in louisiana today is a "surge". Such bullshite.

It's almost like there's an agenda....

You know I will freely admit that I was in favor of most of these restrictions a month or so ago due to the fact that we did not know much about the virus. The Chinese and Italian responses warranted our response until we could understand what we were dealing with more.

Now that we have seen it firsthand and now know that it is not as deadly as once thought people need to get a grip and just accept its here to stay. What is the point in further nuking your countries economy when you know the virus isnt as bad as it was once thought to be.

Notice you haven't seen/heard much about "flattening the curve" in about 4-5 weeks. We've moved on to the need to completely eradicate the virus before returning to normal life. Keep up!!!!

True unfortunately. Some clown columnist in the Birmingham paper this morning wrote that the shutdowns were to build up testing infrastructure and engage "armies" of contact trace people to isolate and eradicate the virus. His thrust was that we shouldn't be opening because this is not in place. Unbelievable.
