Some of y’all don’t get the point, at least with regards to several of those. Nobody saying get rid of internet and cell phones. The one with kids all on phones while grandma is baking something is what has a bad look to it. You can have a phone and other device and not spend most of your day on it is the point. I only allow my kids very little time on devices, mostly b/c I’m a shitty father, but damnit go in the kitchen and learn something from grandma.

on the 23rd they are sitting on the couch watching tv. Dude has stinky feet bed head and a beard and the wife is covered up. on Christmas, she is wearing lingerie and he has soap a shaver and a comb. Inversely they are saying that the couple never speaks and the the Christmas presents are telling what each of them want to tell the other person. Wife wants him to clean up and not smell like death and the husband just wants to get laid.

I think it is more about our routines. We change them slightly for a big day, yet they remain.
Those gifts also represent how media thinks when it comes to gifts for our spouses.
