I know a handful of people that work there. Seems to be a good place.

It was Rhoda before becoming Solvay.

Rhône-Paleunc before that.

US HQ was in Cranbury, NJ.

Rhodia

One half of the plant made vanilla flavoring so they were subject to random FDA inspections. They won a large government contract to burn off old napalm.

Solvay only acquired some of the units, EcoServices acquired what Solvay didn’t.

They are both through the same gate

No never really talked about that. I usually just find out what contractors are working in there from them, since I’m in industrial sales.

My brother in law has worked there since it was Stoffer chemical early 80s. Play golf with him and the guy who hired him back then almost every weekend. The sale to eco and Solvay have them in disarray. Lots of cut backs.

Solvay kept a part of it, but you’re right, the biggest part is now EcoServices.
All of it used to be Rhodia.

ECO Services - Is now owned by PQ Corp.

I use to work for ECO and now work for Solvay. Solvay is a much better place to work for.

If you need some info, please let me know.
