Shouldn’t that be a minimum requirement for any plan or action?
If we only ever went with reasonable plans or actions the world would be a dull place.

Buzzwords are one of my pet peeves. I just hate doing the same shite everyone else does which includes using buzzwords.
And I hate when I use another word and someone will say what I said but using a buzzword.
This guy I worked with, he was an absolute idiot. He got hired because he was a church member of the manager he worked under. And they worked side by side on everything and they both would say this, but the guy who was hired would say it every chance he got.. "you know how you eat an elephant? One bite at a time". So every time I think about buzz words/phrases I think about that. I can still picture that idiots stupid half smile when a meeting was wrapping up and discussing how we will start a part of a project and he would say it and everyone would ignore him and the cocksucker would say it all the time as if he was saying something clever that no one heard before. Thanks for making me think about him a-hole!

It’s not even during arguments when I’m hearing it though lol. Just normal random conversations

I’m beginning to interpret this phrase as the person not knowing how to hold a conversation so they fall back on a good neutral response that can be used in almost any context… “that’s fair”
I use this phrase exclusively when having a discussion with someone who refuses to listen to logic and I just want the conversation to be over.
You may interpret it as a generations inability to hold a conversation. In reality, it’s a generations way of saying “having a conversation with you is so insufferable that I’ll say anything to end it.”
Which is fair.

Right up there with waiter serving you a drink
You say “Thank you”.”
Waiter: “No problem.”
You say “Thank you”.”
Waiter: “No problem.”

My 15 year old says this any time I counter his world view.

That’s at least colloquial enough to not make me roll my eyes.
The new coastal elite/“smart people” term that they all say now is “that tracks”.

Vibe or Vibes” is another buzzword that has been getting thrown around as well and it makes me cringe.
Sorry boomers

As a society, we have made it almost impossible to have an honest conversation about a wide array of topics. It's only natural this kind of language would arise in that context.

All people want is to be treated fair.
