I have to have a Facebook account to run the FB page for my business and despite my best efforts people found me and friended me on there. I log in to check my business messages once per day and this morning my personal feed was so toxic with exactly what he described.

I hid out on there for two years then my mom friended me and an avalanche ensued. I ignore most of them outside of a few people I really want to keep in touch with.

Does he though? It's real easy to disparage people who exhibit a little bit of empathy, something he can't even muster. The thoughts and prayers thing harms no one yet it bothers him that people might actually show a touch of solidarity with strangers. He's an uncaring a-hole who thinks he's cool and edgy.
