I knew they didnt have a craps table, but never noticed the no slot machines.

Quick google says slot machines are allowed at most casinos in CA. Looks like they are all Indian casinos.

Look up San Manuel Casino, it’s as stocked with slots, tables and modern as any casino sans Vegas. They are located right outside LA, and are extremely high traffic.

I’ve never been to any of the CA casinos but have seen them while driving through CA and seen all the billboards advertising them.

Indian revs can only have gambling if the state allows gambling

Are you sure about that? I thought indian reservations were soverign, and not subject to state law. It's why some states only have casinos on Indian land.

I actually can't think of a single reservation in Texas. There may be a couple but I don't think they are prominent if so

the tribes still have "exclusive right" to all classes of gaming except when states do not accept that class or it clashes with federal law.

Native Americans have compromised their wants because of a set of provisions forced on the Native Americans by the federal government. The first provision enforced was that the state has to approve the form of gaming that is conducted. The second provision was the state and reservations had to agree on where to build each casino. The third provision required the tribe to develop gaming ordinances to be approved by the chairman of the National Indian Gaming Commission.

There’s never a shortage of poon at that hotel pool. Never stayed at the villas but I suspect it’s full also.
