but lying to yourself that it's just harmless activism designed to make people more acceptant of others isn't a good start.
who is lying to themselves?
I'm not going to abandon my beliefs/values now because I fear what some people may try to push in the future
we all have lines and we will all know them when we get there

Yes, the type of reasoning definitely grinds my gears
mostly because its such low level, binary and lazy type of thinking

It's not lazy, it's just a way to gain control over people.
Of course, the irony of these groups making these issues so extremely binary while preaching about how everything in their lives is non-binary, nuanced, and fluid is not lost on me.
Both sides do this. So, I'm curious, which groups on the Right employ these tactics, in your opinion?

Not really. I don't see any groups of note saying that on the opposite side. That may be your perception of them, but I haven't seen anything definitive.

You are. These movements have really nothing to do with acceptance other than a "you will accept me or else" stick disguised as a carrot.

But pushing for legislation to limit the rights of other individuals? Spewing hateful words in the faces of other individuals? Refusing to speak with/interact with someone because they're different than you? Unnecessary and purely counterproductive.
Are you talking about legislation pertaining to treatment for minors?
For additional clarification, by accepting people as they are...
The ACLU, teachers unions, etc. talk about topics like "men can have periods" or "men can get pregnant."
So am I violating your vision of "acceptance" by rejecting those attitudes and demanding they not be part of my child's education or advocating they not be part of my workplace?

why? you said yourself the line has moved over the last decades and will continue to move. just on the last page i believe. is it lazy thinking to assume what the next logical step will be?

How would acting like something you aren't affect your mental health? If a sort of movement started, would you be more likely to come out and "me too" about it?
You're lumping a very rare, unfortunate form of birth defect together with something completely different in an effort to legitimize the latter. This is very insidious.

I agree. OP is no different than those losers.
They might be losers, but not because they are choosing to use the power of their wallet to voice their opinion

The left is the only side that has the power to forcefully implement their ideology on the general public. The right doesn't really control any major institutions of influence or power. And, don't go quoting some insignificant group like Turning Point or Focus on the Family as a counterpoint.

I don't really keep up with "groups of not", but it is certainly a prevalent attitude on the internet and here

so whats worse? lying to yourself about what is happening or just sitting back and letting it happen?

Yeah, like I said. Those aren't "groups of note" and no one here is saying that unless you're attending anti-tranny rallies, you're a communist. That's just your perception.

Good question. If you do anything other that option B, then you can have your livelihood destroyed, so I guess there are some tough decisions to make.

Holy hell. Thanks for proving you're nothing more than a partisan hack.
The religious right? NRA? Anti-abortion? Anti-LGBTQ? The list goes on and on.

doesn’t help you also spend most of your time on this website arguing with anyone remotely conservative and taking shots at anyone on the right side of the political aisle. yet never seem to take offense or problem with any person or talking point on the other side. (or at least not that i’ve witnessed)

Literally none of these groups has any influential power (the only one you could really make a case for currently is the anti-abortion group, but that's an extremely niche topic with no influence outside that topic).
Speaking of partisan hacks, it's ironic that you show you are one by thinking the NRA is some powerhouse. They've been a fricking dumpster fire for the last 6 years and it's only a boogeyman for uninformed lefty partisans.
