follow-up question: is there any job in society where you might say, “maybe trannies aren’t suited for this role/job” ?

I’m not interested in having a conversation with someone who equates tourette’s and dressing as a tranny in public settings on the same plane of mental health.

Why wouldn’t they be suited for these jobs?

My take on this is that you have an on-the-clock employee

OP is probably the type that melts over those who aren’t working and instead staying home collecting that gubment money as if he is footing the bill despite him only making 40k and on obamacare.

At least this person has a modest job and isn’t leeching. Unfortunately OP is an insecure dullard but at least he can sleep well knowing the illustrious pedo expert klark kent is on his side!

Just wondering how the OP knew this was a tranny? Was he real obvious about it like beard shadow and wearing a skirt?

I'm not sure I would even know unless it was blatant. I know there is a guy at one store I go to on occasion who has longer than normal for a guy nails and he always has polish on them. He definitely doesn't look feminine in any other aspects. I guess he's probably at least a cross dresser?

Live and let live.

Tolerance is not just for people who think like you. Tolerance means accepting people regardless of their beliefs, lifestyle choices etc. OPs decision to leave a restaurant due to wait staff choices affects me no more than the gender choice of the waitstaff. No fricks given either way. The right and left peeps in this thread are exactly the same. Freedom of choice is not reserved for one side.

I mean, could a really gifted mathematician not also happen to be transgendered? Would that person be disqualified as a teacher or tutor because of being trans?

I have Tourettes. Should I not be allowed to work in public spaces?

If you randomly drop "motherfricker" in all of your sentences, you'd fit right in with the staff of most New Orleans restaurants.

to normal families, yes it would.

I think the truth is most aren't working in these jobs, and it makes sense to ask why.

And I think the answer is that most trans people are not working as doctors or nurses or in professional settings because they have an all-consuming identity struggle that impedes every aspect of life. There are exceptions. I know a couple of people in the legal field. And while anecdotal, they are not stable individuals despite their profession.

I'm not referring to stability as whether they're dangerous or the like. I simply mean being able to table personal issues to perform at a high level in a craft/profession. I think that is something of a rarity among trans folks.

So my issue with a trans person in childcare or babysitting isn't so much morally driven - although I think that's valid - it's an individualized question of "is this person at a level of responsibility and focus sufficient for the task"? And I think that answer is often going to be no. But I recognize that for some who do not grapple with their identity issues in an all-consuming manner, that bias could be unfair.

What do you think it is?

Forced feminization?

Explain. Where is the line to be drawn? I’ve merely advocated for not shunning or shaming a pizza server.

So mostly depression and anxiety on top of gender dysphoria. Pretty accurate.
