The PT has entered a post-modern "ironic-painfully self-aware" phase. It's not so much a discussion of topics as it is a Sorority. And like most sororities the stupidest are usually the most active. The best posters on the PT tend to start threads but not make 22 inane comments on each thread .
Its the same shite that makes the SEC Rant suck balls so hard, the same dozen angry and pompous fricktards who can't reign in their egos for even five minutes and boring the living shite out of everybody by posting every half-baked, boneheaded thought that enters their head and torpedoing every good discussion. Most really good PT posters take extended breaks from it when the miserable shite-stains take over, the mods then clean it up, and it gets tolerable again. It's currently at or near that point. Thank God football season is upon us.
