So now people don't have to hide the fact they are carrying a gun. I have a family member who... I guess you can say is skittish. For some reason never got a permit to carry.. who carries his ruger revolver with him pretty much everywhere he goes. Including church, the ball park.. Pretty much anywhere they don't check for weapons.. I asked him if he was going to get holster so people can see he is carrying, now that its legal to do so without a license. He told me the whole point is for people not to see he has it on him..

Sure they can charge you with treapassing if you don’t leave but they can do that if they don’t like the shirt color you are wearing…..a gun has no bearing in that legally.

Yes if found not guilty in any criminal setting or if no charges are filed a CCP holder cannot be held civilly liable. The same is not true of a person carrying without a permit under the new law.

That's the thing. Starting tomorrow said class is no longer needed. That whole industry will be dead in Louisiana. If you're a concealed carry instructor this is going to hurt.
I personally know the laws but wasn't sure if the changes starting tomorrow in Louisiana.
It will definitely hurt but still good to get if you travel across state lines a lot

They passed that? I thought that was a separate bill that didn't pass.

The bottom line is you're being a tool not respecting someone's private property

NOLA is divided into groups. one gun, two gun, and three gun neighborhoods. You're nuts if you meander around NOLA w/o a weapon.

Anyone know about parades? I know in may they killed a bill prohibiting parades, but don’t know if they did something else.
