No doubt. There’s plenty of trashy coonass swamp rats. But there is also plenty of Normal productive people.
I just found it funny that these random people actually knew that north LA is normal compared to far south LA but they didn’t know there’s plenty of non backwoods folks in south La.

Well in all fairness, I pretty much viewed anyone from “New York” as being some kind of snobbish pussy city dweller that did tons of coke and traded stocks until I was in my mid 20’s and went up there to find out there is more to NY than just Manhattan.

People from the north definitely have an inflated view of themselves when compared to the rest of the country. Louisiana isn't a bunch of swamp hicks, but the state does nothing to help their image. Education is certainly an afterthought around here and people keep voting for idiots to run the state.
