I will murder every last Chinaman on earth if this happens.
I would say .... yes.
My wife works for a major Italian fortune 500 company and today they were notified that all flights to company HQ in Milano and Napoli for the months of April and May have been cancelled by the company.
We were supposed to be in Milano and Venezia the week after The Masters and our plans have been quashed.

Also, Dude. Chinaman is not the preferred nomenclature. Asian-American, please.

In the 2017-2018 US Flu season there were 959,000 hospitalizations and 79,400 deaths.
And you still took your trips to the Castro District in California, Fire Island in New York and early June week at Disney.

That includes pneumonia deaths.

Travel insurance doesn’t cover a cancellation due to potentially getting a lethal disease??! BS Hire an attorney.
Travel insurance can be notoriously limited.
And an attorney probably costs more than the trip

Yeah. My 16 day trip to Spain will cost me about $500 out of pocket if I cancel. I have to claw back a lot of miles and some hotel points but it's not a terrible hit to take.

LINK
Here's a link about travel insurance on the Travel board. I linked the current events section from the carrier we bought coverage from.
Unless you bought coverage for voluntary cancellation there are going to be stipulations on whether or not you might be able to use it. We've already found out with the cruise line we're taking in April in Germany that we have until February 29th to cancel and get 50% of the cost back. So even still they may pay only a percentage of the actual loss if the coronavirus is considered an event. Much can still happen in the interpretation over the next month or so.
So we're probably still going. Nice knowing you baws.

Hopefully it doesn't start.
Hopefully I haven't come into contact with someone of those people.
I'm headed to mingle at my local brewery soon too.
God help them.

Wife (no pics) and I were just discussing this. I’ve got trip to Namibia (Africa) in 55 days. Family trip to Peru in 3 months and son has trip to Alaska in 4 months. Most trips we’ve ever had scheduled in 1 year. It is what it is as we have no control.

I have the same trip but amalfi coast, Rome, Florence, and Venice. I’m taking my parents and they are worried. I’m flying into BCN and I havent purchased my flight to Italy yet. I booked a non refundable room in positano. The room costs as much as 3 rt tickets to Bcn from Dallas.
Waiting to see if things get better before booking the balance of flights, trains, and rooms.

Most likely yes but since they are getting it bad now, it could be over by May.

You should go to San Antonio instead.

No, no you're not.
Sorry man. That shite is going to envelop Italy and the middle East. It's already spreading to parts of Eastern Europe because of the people from Italy traveling.
Just go ahead and try to get out of it.
Sorry bro
