I bought the "Propel Cloud Rider" on whim when at Office Depot recently and I think I *might* be hooked...
I've ALWAYS had an affinity for helicopters and how they fly and I'm curious where my next step is?
I know there is "Drone Racing" through "wickets" (or whatever) and that seems like something incredibly interesting.
What is my next step up from this ~$100 drone I can fly around my apartment pretty confidently... (for the most part)
I'm wondering what I should be able to do/when I'll know I'm ready to move up in skill level?
TIA
(ok... yeah... I'm definitely hooked

I use one for work every now and then. They are a lot of fun to fly and depending on your unit, can do some pretty cool stuff. I may or may not have used the company drone out on the golf course...

Does it come with batteries for both the Controller and the Drone? Does it have a camera?

The bigger ones are easier to fly

I have a few legit reasons to need one at work, but my understanding is that you have to be a licensed pilot to use them for commercial purposes.

Just bought a Phantom 4....super nice. Had the original Phantom but the 4 has anti collision software which will save you a ton of money in repairs.

Fly that motherfricker over my house and I'll shoot it down with my Beretta.

I got a cheap drone for a secret Santa gift and got hooked. I started with a lot of different cheap drones and then started building a FPV racing drone and sorta lost interest. I have all the components except the battery and battery components. I have a LDR frame and a generic Amazon frame.

Actual drones worth a shite cost at least 600
What a wasted post

Obligatory, "That's what she said"
But to the OP, I've always wanted to get into the drone stuff. Might have to go pick up a cheap one to learn now.

You do have to get license but it's not same as a pilot license.

Cool, drones are fun. Who among us didn't have some sort of remote controlled car etc when they were a kid?
Anyone utilize them for work other than military?
