I've got one friend who refuses to get her kid vaccinated against anything. She's never been vaccinated as mom thinks it causes autism. Kid is 10 now and homeschooled too b/c mom is nuts.

Do we all still agree(except for yogagirl) that this is insane?

I can accept skepticism over COVID-19 vaccines (even if I get the vaccine myself).

Other well-established vaccines that children should have to attend public school? Nah. frick off. If you don't want to vaccinate your kids then home school them. Otherwise, they're a public health hazard.

doesn't matter anymore. President Puddin Brain is letting untold numbers of illegal immigrants in everyday and they aren't vaccinated. Your friend's actions probably aren't gonna matter.

I mean, vaccines with very little efficacy are being lumped together with traditional vaccines with well established 99%+ efficacy.

The science is broken.

They have 99% efficacy because those viruses have very low prevalence. In antivaxx areas there are a few vaccinated kids getting measles

My thoughts exactly.

I got my vaccine, got Covid, it wasn't that bad. Didn't get my booster and will not.

My child did just fine with Covid, and will not receive the vaccine.

He's up to date on his other vaccines though. Got his 4 year old ones a few months ago.

I'm in complete agreement, but with the Covid stuff I wasn't so sure how far away normal people have strayed from all vaccines.

We’ll see who’s laughing when the lizard people activate these vaccines and your children are used as slaves to harvest Xenotime to power their ships.

If their kids are attending school, they're typically required to have some very basic vaccines. When I worked as a records clerk in a school with a large ESL population, good majority of those kids were vaccinated.

Soccer moms who listened to Jenny McCarthy say "Hi". Pre-COVID I saw a whooping cough outbreak and multiple cases of measles because of those dumb bitches at work.

Mississippi traditionally has some of the best coverage for "school" vaccinations. I always found that kind of interesting. I don't think they mess around with exemptions in that state.

Do you seriously think these mRNA vaccines will one day come anywhere close to that kind of efficacy?

I'm down with the original set (for school purposes)...

giving a kid 76 shots before they're 18 is overkill, IMO. Gonna leave it up to my kids on what they want to get when they're old enough.

As far as Autism rates go, I've seen alot of the arguments for/against it coming from vaccines and I'll say this, the number of cases of autisms in the 50s vs today is astonishing. Is it that we're giving 6x the inoculations OR is it that we're capable of identifying autism more accurately? I tend to think it's a combination.

Its this. Vaccines don't cause autism.
