By the quick break in the video, he didn’t have time to pull the driver out of his vehicle which was being used as an armed blockade. So therefore he didn’t pull the driver out of his vehicle, and the driver walked out of his vehicle armed to with the intention of confronting. Which is once again, obvious. Even though I don’t see it happen I can reasonably assume the victim
didn’t suddenly gain super speed

If he wasn’t a retarded arse country bumpkin he wouldn’t point shotguns at people in the first place to put him in the position to allegedly be attacked

The driver was already out of the vehicle when Arbery reached the truck. He swung around to the right side of the truck and then turned sharply left to confront the driver. If he had been trying to flee he would have been shot in the back. Instead he charged the driver and attempted to take his gun away. Hence why we see them wrestling for control of it the next time we see them on camera.

That doesn't matter. George Zimmerman did the same thing and he was found not guilty on the grounds of self-defense.

Naw, player.

He was looking for "justice", instigated the contact and killed the kid in cold blood.

Your "the next time we saw them" comment was max 2.1 seconds and that was the young man trying to not get killed.

There is absolutely no proof that he was killed in cold blood. At worst it's manslaughter.

I knew you'd go there. Was the young man on the phone with Rachel Jentil talking about how he was going to frick up that creepy arse cracker?

Then instigate contact?

There is nothing in this video that shows anything less than self-defense.

I don't know. The only evidence we have is a cell phone video that doesn't show anything close to the whole picture as the DA reported in his statement.

I don't know too many of the facts of this case but, as far as I can tell, this video doesn't do anything to bolster one side or the other.

Aggressors cannot claim self-defense.

Which is exactly what I said. Once the driver left the vehicle with his weapon drawn to confront an unarmed in official the situation is entirely in his hands. I’d also say once you try to set up an armed blockade in the middle of the road as civilians that can be said as well.

You can’t hold any sort of accountability to how an individual reacted when they have two guns pulled on them by two individuals that have already chased & harassed them.

And we’re not even taking into account how the individual is black in the rural south & the two instigators are good ole southern boys.

Recordings of similar incidents are often inaccurate portrayals of the entire event and do not tell the whole story.

My question about this one is, would that guy continue to jog towards that truck with two guys that he thought might harm him? Seems pretty unlikely.

I'm a contrarian, but you are giving us a bad name.

If you pull a gun on someone else on the street, and they try to get it away from you, they are defending themselves against you, the aggressor.

You don't get to then claim self-defense.
