a nobody named George Floyd overdosed while being held down by a cop and a lot of the country burned

And I don’t agree with drugs and the thug life - I try to teach my children the opposite of that - but I wasn’t on social media celebrating his death either.

Seriously how much more do y’all want… the Vice President is on TV advocating for folks to be fired for their indifference or comments concerning his death… flags were lowered… the President acknowledges him everyday … they got the White boy who killed him.., what should people who didn’t know of Kirk be doing different

How does he stand correct? Just about every employer will care what their employees put out into the world for everyone to see. This is no different than an employee being reported to their manager for being a dickhead to a customer.

The fault is not with the person doing the reporting, it lies with the employee putting every stupid thought of theirs out in the open for the world to see.

this is happening across the world, idiot.

You dumbasses have no clue who you killed and what youve started.

Nothing is forced. the world is shocked that a major political party in this country supports murder because words are to harsh for them.

It was a high profile political assassination to quell speech.

Everyone is alarmed, except you soy boys. Do you know why? Because words harm you.

Cancel culture is not acceptable on both sides.

One side cancels people over 10 year old non-PC social media posts made when someone was in high school. The other side cancels people who are openly celebrating a murder because they didn't agree with the guy's politics. The 2 sides are not the same.

quote:

Some ppl, most ppl don't have to make"judgement" call at work. They are just bean counters.
Better check again. A lot of the people being fired over Charlie Kirk comments were nurses, doctors, and educators. Would you trust someone to provide life saving care at the hospital to you or your family members if you knew they harbored so much hatred for conservatives that they openly celebrated a political assassination? Or would you want those people in charge of educating your kids?

If the sides were flipped and it was a right wing nut job that assassinated a prominent liberal activist and you had conservatives celebrating it, you better believe that the lefties would be doxing every single one of them and going after their jobs. And considering how crazy the left gets, they'd probably be sending death threats and having protestors show up outside of their homes on top of all that.

ETA: and even for "bean counter" type jobs, keeping those people employed after they celebrated Kirk's murder still risks your company being the recipient of negative publicity and possible boycotts....plus potentially opens the door to being accused of a hostile work environment by other employees that claim they don't feel comfortable around coworkers with that level of hatred for conservatives. Not worth the risk to keep those employees around.

When you expose deficits in your character.

This isn’t a “vote Harris” backlash. This is a “I’m glad a young father was murdered” backlash

Kirk showed the world that not everyone who has a voice is a blue haired, androgynous atheist that preaches tolerance but hardly practices it

He made sure that the rest of us who believe in God and have conservative values are not forgotten in the chaos and misrepresentation of main stream media.

And we have to make sure he’s not forgotten
