I would venture to say jokes are fine. But making fun of a poster's family for IRL disabilities or conditions is frowned upon.

What sucks about mom jokes or the OT in general is when someone brings up a decent topic or question, you basically have to skip to the 3rd page for valid responses due to the stupid “look at me and how non funny I am” initial responses.
