Shiiittt, 3/4 of an inch of freezing rain is still catastrophic. Hell, a tenth of an inch would be a problem.
The hope is to see that downtrend continue. I haven't compared Sim. Reflectivity from run to run yet. There's a reason for the drop. Either the overall total of rain has gone down, or that second line of rain comes through sooner/quicker on the 18z run.

Legend,
My best guess is that the QPF didn’t change between runs, only the precip type. Northern areas transition to sleet earlier from a colder airmass which is depicted on that accumulation model.

Not seeing that to hour 44.

Yeah, but it is only to 21z, and the NAM also has nothing at that point.

Love the 0z and 18z 48 hour hrrr runs. Like getting desert after dinner. Normal hrrr is only 18 hours.

That is true.
With so many bridges, any accumulation of ice could shut down a number of roads.
But as with any models, you can expect one model go one way and the next is going to reel it back a little, and the next could be worse than the first.
We have seen the play out all the time whether it is a “snow” storm or a hurricane.

Hrrr runs every hour. Hrrr output is 48 hours long for the 0z and 18z runs. Every other run is 18 hours of output.
6 and 12z too but we hardly use those since that’s the middle of the night
