I don't think 1/3 means what you think it means

1/3 of a cup is 1/3 of a cup. He could have said equal parts water and rubbing alcohol too.

ETA - unless I missed the joke.

Reminds me of a drunk trip to Krystal’s when I was in college. My buddy was slurring his words pretty bad as he orders. Says “lemme get one of them Stanley Steemer packs. I want half with cheddar cheese, half with pepper jack, and half with American”.

Girl taking the order is like - sir, that’s 3 halves.

He goes - ah frick you! You know what the frick I meant!

We probably ate spit covered Krystal’s that night.

OP,

Long time lurker, very rare poster checking in to say "AUsome"! Enjoy your snow day!

I grew up in Auburn (24 years) and have spent the past 24 years here in Japan. I skied Lake Martin growing up, but my first ski on snow was here in Japan. I have been skiing and / or snowboarding every year, with kids born in between, since.

Don't let any stupid tRant frickers bring you down. I live in a place where 10 miles north is all snow and 10 miles south, it never snows now. Just beaches and bitches on the south side. Silver linings abound.

War Eagle and please enjoy your snow, bitch

Awesome..... I remember getting up in the mornings and going with my grandpa to break ice around the ponds for the cows.

Love this weather
