Okay, then just go somewhere that has snow crab legs, pretty much any decent seafood place in BR. And just pay the market price.
The AYCE usually comes with an AYCE crowd
Good point....

Silver Slipper should be in that radius.
I thought I was the only degenerate gamble here.
But yes, Slipper is an hour and 48 minute drive from Baton Rouge. Hollywood in Bay St. Louis is also in at 1 hour and 52 minutes.
To bad that L'Auberge doesn't have a buffet. Hollywood in BSL is owned by the same company.
It is sad that Mississippi Casinos have buffets, but the South Louisiana ones do not. The L'Auberge Properties in Lake Chuck and Baton Rouge and Boomtown in Harvey do not have have buffets, but their Mississippi properties in Boomtown Biloxi and Hollywood in BSL do have a buffet.
As far as on the coast:
Silver Slippa has snow crabs
Hollywood BSL has Snow crabs and crawfish during the season, word of caution, they do have a limit of 2 clusters per trip
Island View has no crabs, but it does offer shrimp
Treasure Bay has Snow Crabs and select nights it will do lobster or dungeoness crabs
Beau Rivage has no crabs, but they will do crawfish at times
Hard Rock has a buffet space, but only uses it for selected holidays for buffet specials
Harrahs Gulf Coast has no buffet space.
Golden Nugget has no buffet space, they stole the buffet space to add more sports betting
The Palace does crabs, but I haven't been there so I don't have as much information except for the signs I see on I-10.
IP has no buffet space, they had one, but converted it to a restaurant during COVID that no one ate at, space is now empty.
Boomtown in Biloxi has crabs and lobster for add ons
Scarlet Pearl in D'Iberville has no buffet space open, they had one but it closed for COVID and never reopened, they did turn some of the space into a temporary restaurant space when they renovated the ones in the entrance. Now it sits empty.

Ohhh yes it's finally that time again??
Crawfish and snow crabs are back at the Sportsbook!
Here's how we're serving it up:
?? Sno-Crab 1 lb $28
?? Crawfish 3 lb $28
?? Crawfish 5 lb $45
All served with corn and potatoes. Butter and signature crawfish sauce also available

I just cannot fathom a 3+ hour round trip for some crab legs you can get damn near anywhere.
With gas prices, time value, wear and tear on vehicle, you'd have to eat an absolutely obscene amount of crabs to even break even.
If you want to go out to dinner, just find a nice place near where you are. BR has a ton of decent places within 5-15 mins.
And if you just want to absolutely gorge yourself with crab, go to one of those big buffets.
Or go to the store and get some.
Driving for hours makes no sense

So you knew you were on the wrong board, but I didn't realize you're female, makes sense.

Red Maple on the west bank use to run specials and is a nice dining spot. Food was always very good.
