I thought Florida only had the pig me rattlers.

I do know Pythons(and no, not BBC, OT) are a huge problem down there. They used to pay you cash for kills.

Aruba used to pay people to kill lionfish. They are a fish that has no predator and can annihilate an ecosystem.

When I lived in Montgomery three years ago, I went to get a shovel from the garage. I saw a big snake looking at me with his mouth open and his fangs showing. My neighbor was outside and I told her to come see the big snake. She looked at it and ran inside her house. The snake is beginning to leave and she comes out with a can of roach spray and sprays that snake directly on his head. She said that she wanted to blind him. I don't know if it worked but the snake continued to leave and went into a ditch. Every now and then I wonder if her bug spray worked on blinding the snake. She was from South America and she told me that's what they do in her country. She said you blind a snake and it will die since it can't search for the food that it needs. It will starve to death.

That SOB is heading into a residential area. A real man would have gotten a vehicle to burn some rubber on its head.

Yup.
I got picks of a 6-footer crossing a road on at my hunting club in Monroe County, AL.

Never try to kill a snake with fire. When I was in high school a friend of mine and I tried to kill a breeding ball of cottonmouths in a crawfish pond by throwing gas on them and then setting them on fire then shooting a roman candle at them to set them on fire. It back fired because way too many snakes on fire started chasing us. Luckily we were on ATVs and out ran them but some of those bass turds made it a 1/4 of a mile or more before they finally died.

That would be all fine and dandy if Snakes used their eyes for killing prey.

They sense heat and vibrations and use that to kill. Eye sight is the last thing they use for killing an animal.

Rattlesnakes aren’t aggressive, and will leave you alone if you leave it alone.

Same. It's good to have rat or garden snakes around, they keep the rodents and spiders at bay.

Now Copperheads, frick those bastards. Kill them all!
