Sounds like there's a lot we don't know about this case.

Well Drew just said he shot Will, turned the gun on his wife and started shooting and also shot up the back seat. Then turned the gun back on Will and shot him again.

I must have been confused by the facts, then. I must have missed something when I was reading the thread.
Geez, if what Brees says is true, Hayes wanted to make sure he was dead, along with the wife. Not sure where Drew got his facts, though.
