Fitbit Blaze or Apple Watch 3....just want the GPS not the GPS and Cellular...don't want a separate phone # and all that fun stuff.
just looking for Bluetooth to my I-phone for notification and then the tracking of steps, workouts, heart rate...
i know the Apple is supposedly waterproof which is intriguing.
Fitbit is cheaper so there is that.
any opinions for you ladies and gents that probably have one of each on each arm?

Is the age of classic watches dead with this smart watch fad? hell you can make it look like whatever you want.

I have the 3 with cellular and FWIW you don't get a separate #. It is $10 a month though. Its really nice though because you can go for a run or whatever and not have to worry about bringing your phone. There also has been a few times that I have left the house to run errands and forget my phone. Normally I'd turn around but not if I have the watch. Can still take calls and messages if I need to.

If the only thing you want it to do is tracking steps, heart rate, workouts and notifications, then buy the Fitbit.
Note, the Fitbit can't display all notifications. It can display text messages but not messages from many other applications.
I have had 3 Fitbits. Two had hardware problems and had to be replaced. If this 3rd one goes south on me then I will probably switch to an iWatch.
Note, the Blaze doesn't have built in GPS but it can use your phone's GPS during workouts.

I have used Garmin since about 2007 and can still go back and compare my workouts. I would just pick something that you expect to be around for a longtime (like Garmin).
