seems like those firefighters might consider looking for another way into the cockpit than trying to break the windscreens out, from the looks of the fire, pumping that much air into it might create a massive backdraft/fireball

Looks like it was a NetJet flight. Have they released names?

It is, which is sort of surprising as their safety record is very good. It will be interesting to learn what happened.

Pretty small fire considering they were originally headed to Austin - could be fuel related.

Authorities report 1 fatality and 5 injuries among the 6 occupants on board. No injuries were reported on the highway despite the crash occurring during the aircraft's approach, approximately 4 km south of Laredo International Airport.

The accident occurred around 10 p.m. local time.

NetJets is the world’s largest private aviation company and widely utilized by corporations for executive travel.
