I would wait a good while on this one. Some people can put on a GREAT act. Her ulterior motive could definitely be $$$ for her either through the company or in using you to get paid. If youve done something already...youre locked it. Could be either great or REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY bad. Its a huge huge risk. The fact that youre asking probably makes it a bad idea.

Tons of people meet at work and go on to get married.

If y'all get along, like each other and there is the possibility of a real relationship that could lead to marriage, go for it.

Just let it be known you expect whomever you marry to work and you will never be supporting someone on easy street. Set those expectations from the get go.

If you don't have any ownership or direct her work, y'all are just employees

Don't put the pussy on a pedestal. Besides since your parents own the company you can always have her fired if things go bad.

it's much easier to see it when it's up on that pedestal. And to tuck bills into the garter.

If you're trying to be secretive about your age, why would you say "almost 30", then turn right around and say "30 in a year in a half". It's not like we can't subtract. You didn't even set it up all "common-core-like". Maybe then 90% of the people wouldn't get it.

To the original point, this seems like a terrible idea. But a bad idea that I would no doubt choose to do if I were in your position. You're only a man, and your dad probably started that company for one reason.....to pull pussy. So it's only fitting that his son take over the family business.

Sexual harassment lawsuit. I assume she knows your the owners kid right? I'd approach with caution.

It really depends on the girl. I've slept with 3 coworkers with no problems and 1 that was a bit of a problem (we were in college and she was nuts).

What is the awareness level of the owners of the company, given that it is your actions that are potentially exposing them to any legal action?
If you are not her manager, certainly the better, but what management status is implied by way of you being a part of the owners family.

As others have said, you gotta use your judgment. Is this a simple hookup for each of you or potentially more? I met my wife through work over 20 years ago and would say it worked out great for us.

Tell your parents that you are going on vacation

Tell woman that you are quitting job and legally signing away any future inheritance

Disappear for a few days

If she is still around when you come back, you might have a chance

Don't do it.

I've done it at every workplace except where I am now.

Never ends well.

Now there is a 21 year old black sorrority girl where I work now who is just hnnnmggggggggg. If I wasn't married I'd trap her with a baby.

The reason why he asked how old you are is because you sound like a teenager. If you are, you're good at it. If you're not, you need to grow up. Either frick her and be done with it or move on to someone else. It's not that big of a deal.
