I'll tell you something...
If I was a business owner I'd be hiring these people getting fired from high positions.
They obviously have skills to make it that far.
And now, I can get them on the cheap to bring my company to the next level.

bullshite. There are people who think that if you have a view slightly offensive to their viewpoint that they should never be allowed to hold down a job or line of work ever again. They are out to ruin people's lives. I like a friendly debate, but I have never tried to ruin someone's life over the internet over some controversial view they may have. The only time it's relevant is if it has to do with some direct competency to do with the job, which clearly this isn't the case.

There have been revolutions throughout history over various causes and people feeling slighted. If you keep pushing a cause that has opposition, you will eventually run into resistance.
I personally love looking at the French Revolution and the parallels today. A collective mindset can become a runaway freight train. People have always been people, and the same types of things have always pushed them to the brink. We are flawed as humans, and no better than those that lived 1000 years ago.
