Wait? What now?
Let’s be honest here...if the left starts a reign of terror...I mean... people that thought they were safe will find themselves in the crosshairs

You have absolutely nothing to support this statement
How can you not get more mainstream than that?

adorable and completely false. The numbers you went with validated what I’ve been saying that we’re talking about a very small percentage of people.
These people who engage in violence for their left wing causes are a small percentage, but it's not an insignificant number by any means.

They do have equal prevelance and sway, though they don’t come together as literal mobs nearly as often.
Yeah, now you're just trying to get a win for your side. No honest person on any side of the political spectrum would agree with that at all. You're getting into full on hack mode now.

Maxine Waters told a crowd to corner and intimidate people with different political views and there were crickets as well.

You're saying that right wing mobs are equal to left wing mobs, not because they both have equal sway or prevalence, but because they both merely exist. That's just a completely lazy hack argument.

Again, how are they “far left” if they are supported by the party’s politicians?
Fear, the same way many GOP politicians publicly support positions they don’t really believe in themselves.
quote:
The people that are stated to be far right wing are the racists and sexists.
No, they are part of the far right obviously but it extends to people who want to completely gut Medicare/Medicaid or cut other services for the most vulnerable to the bone (if not eliminate all together). These are policy positions supported by a lot of GOP politicians.
Then you’ve also got the conspiracy nuts who maybe aren’t racist or sexist but honestly believe the Clintons are involved in a pedo ring in a pizza parlor. We haven’t seen too much policy adoption from the right yet thankfully, though I don’t doubt it’s coming.
quote:
I swear, you progressives respond to all situations of left wing violence with “but Trump”.
You’re putting words in my mouth. I have responded to left wing violence both in this thread and many other times before. I don’t hide from that, it should be addressed by more on the left I’ll even concede that. All I did was point out that you talk about all the unseemly ways Democrat politicians behave yet ignore that Trump and the GOP are just as bad if not worse. Why only single out Democrats? And don’t give me this stuff about the swamp because if you haven’t figured out yet that Donald Trump is the swampiest of them all you’re just not paying attention (or you’re an NPC who takes right wing media at face value).

Yes if someone doesn’t agree with your perspective they aren’t being honest. Give me a fricking break bro, you’re pathetic.

Should be supported by everyone. We spend more on Medicare and Medicaid per capita than every single country in the world spends on its entire healthcare system save two countries, and it's real growth is stunning. There is zero path to fiscal solvency without addressing that.
So how is that a hard right issue?

Dude, you said there are just as many active violent left wing mobs as there are active violent right wing mobs. That's completely false. Anyone with an inkling of honesty knows that.
But, like I said, you're the "my side has to win" type so you don't want to admit such things. I like watching you show your arse like this

Why only single out Democrats?
I am in no way saying it doesn’t exist on the right. That is asinine.
But the level of violence stemming from the left wing, whether you see them as fringe or not, FAR outpaces the right wing.
There was a time when the right was likely more violent, but that pendulum has definitively swung in the opposite direction.

Reforming the social safety net so it operates efficiently, goes to the right people, and is less open to abuse is not hard right. Wanting to become the only industrialized country without any social safety net whatsoever is though.

No thoughts on those?
I mean, it's not good, but those are hardly the only metrics to define the prevalence of left or right wing mobs.
quote:
The Anti-Defamation League documented a 57 percent surge in anti-Semitic incidents in 2017, especially at schools and on college campuses. Meanwhile, FBI statistics released this monthshow reported hate crimes jumped 17 percent last year.
This is the kind of dishonest left wing reporting that perpetuates the nonsense that people like you love to spout. They say things like this then surround it with statements that lead readers to make the assumption that all these incidents are completely attributed to "right wingers" without actually making their knowingly false or misleading statement. This is why people are turning on the media.

Definition from the 3rd link I gave:
Is that dishonest?
Why do we even have to parse his out? Why can’t we all just come together against political violence in whatever form it takes? By focusing only on left wing violence you give the impression, fair or not, that you either support, don’t know about, or don’t care about right wing violence. I’m not doing that. I’ve been very clear from the beginning that left wing violence is a real problem and both here and in my real life bring it up and talk about how much it hurts legitimate liberal positions.
quote:
right-wing terrorism commonly refers to the use or threat of violence by sub-national or non-state entities whose goals may include racial, ethnic, or religious supremacy; opposition to government authority; and the end of practices like abortion.4 As Bruce Hoffman writes, right-wing terrorists generally criticize the democratic state for “its liberal social welfare policies and tolerance of diverse opinion—alongside its permitting of dark-skinned immigrants in the national labor force and of Jews and other minorities in positions of power or influence.” 5
Left-wing terrorism, on the other hand, refers to the use or threat of violence by sub-national or non-state entities that oppose capitalism, imperialism, and colonialism; focus on environmental or animal rights issues; espouse pro-communist or pro-socialist beliefs; or support a decentralized sociopolitical system like anarchism.6

Does that include all violence not deemed “domestic terrorism”?
For example, bomb threats, assaults, destruction of property, etc.
I’ll admit I was unaware of the rise in “domestic terrorism” in regards to right wing fanatics.
Does burning down campaign offices or shooting out the windows count? Do death threats or threats of violence count? Assaults against politicians?
I couldn’t find their definition of domestic terrorism.
I, personally, don’t think those acts I listed fall under domestic terrorism, but then again, I admit that wasn’t what I was initially thinking of.

You're mixing and matching definitions and studies now. You're getting worse now.
The articles you're posting have completely dishonest information that implies that all "hate crimes" or anti-Semitic attacks are carried out by right wingers by default and it's a dangerously dishonest tactic that continues to fuel the left's justification for going further left everyday.
I've never said that one side is free of guilt on anything and I've been clear on that as well.
I'm saying that the left has the ability to control the narrative as to which side is presenting the real problems. As we've seen in the article I've posted above, they intentionally mislead the public by publishing articles that intentionally deceive the consumer so they can push a narrative.
