Love that movie as well.

And anyone that has to get upset over a freaking classic 80s movie (that's a comedy no less) not meeting today's "standards" needs to STFU and be thankful their life is so easy that their biggest gripe is trying to find racism anywhere they can.

Who knew the creators of PCU were looking into a crystal ball and seeing what would become of this society in 2015?

Didn't a girl get drunk and raped by Anthony Michael Hall in that movie?

I believe that the writer did an excellent job of explaining her position. I never enjoyed the movie, and I agree with her that it does contain many offensive stereotypes. After reading the other comments, I realize now why we need safe zones for those who are bombarded with offensive images.

no. She got drunk and thought Ted was Jake and she threw it on him. Ted doesnt' even remember it but she sure did and had no complaints.

he was sober enough to drive home safely. He certainly remembered, just doing the "oh man so messed up last night move" because he knew she was asleep.

he didn't drive home safely. he ended up in a church parking lot after a sixer.

No he doesn't remember. He had asked her if he enjoyed it and then he asked her if she did and she says, "You know, I have this weird feeling I did."

round, kiddies, and check out how rape and racism used to be hilarious punch lines.

Pretty sure it's still a punchline today in movies and tv

that is a good question. Why were the 80s so rapey?

Animal House at least had the good sense not to let it happen.
