Sitting in traffic over the MS River bridge and I’m thinking to myself, why don’t they just build a second bridge if there’s so much traffic on it everyday?

...you ARE on the second one

It’s not the bridge, it’s the split.

I like when it bounces.
The view of LSU stadium is nice when the lights are on.
I like to look at those giant robot tits protruding from the ground.
It's a little scary when the Mississippi River is fast rolling angrily with whitecaps.

The St. Francisville bridge? From my understanding, that bridge had been promised to the agricultural people in that community for a very long time prior to it finally being constructed and made. I could be wrong, but I don't think that bridge had anything to do with BR, and it was proposed and accepted prior to a lot of the current BR traffic problems due to influx of population. BR's problem is that they could have had a loop or another bridge but certain people in BR balked at the idea. I do agree though, a bridge and loop of some sort would cure much of Baton Rouge, and by default SELA's, traffic issues.

Edit: and yes the 10/12 split is a major source of the entire problem.

Because Pelosi was more worried about how she could cram $6 trillion of Wuhan Flu spending through Congress to bail out the Goldonna Art Institute

Like a “new bridge”?

It’s called the new bridge.

It’s official name is the Horace Wilkinson Bridge.

Horace’s momma called it the new bridge so I’m gonna call it the new bridge.
