And I prefer to have a custom station play songs I dont hate without commercials that I dont have to spend time picking.

I have had both services premium offerings and they both server their place well.

I like being able to say "i feel like 90s country redneck today" And then have a station queued up to play all of that. You cant find that on the reg radio either.

If I wanted that on spotify Id have to craft my own play list and then when Im tired of the same songs in 2 weeks id have to mix another together.,

Yeah, I do. It has a better algorithm for finding unknown music. Though Spotify has a better overall selection. But only using Spotify makes it easy to overplay songs.

This comes up all the time, and I'm amazed that 10 years after on demand subscription streaming started in the US people still don't know the difference. I'm guessing it's people who've never had paid versions of Spotify or Apple Music or whatnot.

As to your question, Pandora's radio is way, way better than anyone else. I actually like their full streaming subscription too, but I went back to Spotify because of a good deal.

I like free Pandora. Yes I am old. No I don’t like to pay for music. I had Sirius for 3 discounted months, let it go. Not worth the cost at full price, plus all I want is music for my here to there drives in town. Pandora, even with occasional ads, does the trick. I hope Sirius doesn’t screw around with them.

is it free when you create a playlist or is that a "premium" deal?

It’s amazing how far Sirius has come considering they were once the very little brother to XM.

And it’s all because of Howard Stern.

You have to pay to make your playlist. And also to skip songs I think on Spotify.

I have Pandora Premium. Like it fine for what it is although I'm starting to like Youtube music more and more.

This is why I left Pandora. It would leave genre too often. iHeart radio never leaves genre.
