Him: Sounds good, as long as you agree to refund the difference of actual date costs incurred by me, on you. If what I spent is of equal or lesser value, then you keep the delta. If what I spent exceeds your deposit, then you either have to pay the delta or other arrangements can be made.

I believe this is the most fair way to combat this.

This is a thing for some women. They spend lots of money on their nails (which men don't care about) and they use too much makeup (also for other women). Hundreds of dollars go down the drain for hair styling, coloring, and treatments (only women and gay men notice the hair). The Botox and collagen injections are not encouraged by men but you see even women in their 20s doing that

Then at the end of the process they claim they spent all of the time and money for the guy. The guy who mostly just doesn't want you to have pink hair, piercings, and a bunch of tattoos
