Since the Feds aren't doing anything about it, Texas may build their own border wall

Gov. Greg Abbott announced Thursday that Texas will build a border wall along the state’s boundary with Mexico — but provided no details on where or when.
Abbott declared his plans during a press conference in Del Rio. He said he would discuss the plans next week. The Biden administration issued a proclamation that stopped border wall construction on his first day of office.
Abbott announced the news while discussing a slew of border initiatives, such as a $1 billion allocation for border security in the state budget lawmakers just passed and a plan to establish a Governor’s Task Force on Border and Homeland Security with public safety and state government officials.

If Texas can figure out a way to put a border wall around the entire state then I’m in.

As the property owners on the border if they are willing to cooperate without eminent domain. You will find overwhelming support for a wall from people tired of dealing with potentially dangerous situations on their property.

There are still eminent domain cases being litigated that date back to the W Bush administration. Or there were as recently as a few years ago. There are dozens currently being litigated from the Trump administration. But yeah, it's all Biden's fault.
Also, we're approaching border apprehension numbers equal to May 2019, the highest month of apprehensions. But tell me more about Biden not enforcing border security. And this chart is only through February of this year, so it's possible we've eclipsed the May 2019 numbers.

Could apprehensions be up because a helluva a lot more people are crossing??? Is this possible?
