Since NOLA is essentially on lockdown

it seems like a perfect opportunity for the city to push next steps in dealing with all that is the Hard Rock. No traffic on the streets; no people at their usual place of work; no civilians or on lookers to worry about public safety; very limited media access to the situation. It would be awesome to come back from our two week staycation and this black eye be permanently removed--and even better, the bodies appropriately taken care of

Yea because they will magically be efficient and get something handled within two weeks.

Nah better to just have a tropical storm or Cat 1 take care of it in August

I’m sure the rats took care of them, sadly.

Moving forward it would behoove you to refrain from attempting to use logic, efficiency, or common sense in any situation in which the City of New Orleans has control over.
That exercise is the clinical definition of a Sisyphean effort.

Tons of people are still outside and driving around all over the place, at least they were today. The “lockdown” term is really misleading since they’re still letting people go to the store and run errands lol.

THIS. I wish people would understand that it’s a recommendation to stay at home. You aren’t required to stay locked up. You can go to the store, restaurant, etc.

Until something bad happens with the demolition, a bunch of workers get hurt, and the ERs are overwhelmed already.

Who's Ghana pay for the demolition?
