"Can I ride along?" asked Sandra Sterling, aunt of Alton Sterling, who was shot and killed by police last year.

You have to pass a background check, so probably not.

Not sure how he isn't seen as a racist. He threatens LE and promotes violence. What a great fricking leader for the youth and city.

How much longer will we have legitimate idiots in positions of power infecting our city?

ETA: Not specific to slim, but pretty much anyone and everyone related to the broome organization.

However, the preview was purely informational; the council has no authority to stop production.

So it doesn't matter what that clown show council thinks anyways. They should have called Sterling on her bs and invited her to ride along

Arthur "Silky Slim" Reed also took to the microphone, saying the city shouldn't do anything to make heroes of the city's police after the Sterling shooting.

Mayor Pro Tem Scott Wilson asked the sergeant at arms to remove Reed for speaking off topic.

"You're gonna get your day!" Reed yelled, pointing at Wilson as he was led out.

This is the kind of people SWB puts on her transition team and gives a contract for almost $10k for a program thats supposed to reduce crime.

Had a friend at the meeting, said they heard Gravy say "You gone, have a good day" as Slim went out the door.

1. Why give her an opportunity to drum up business for her crappy bail-bond service?

2. If they attempted to arrest anyone on her ride-along, she might jump on the cop's back and start whaling on him. At the very least, she'd be a loudmouthed nuisance.

Wait so is this a Live PD knockoff?

Would totally watch, but would rather they just invite Live PD down here.

You would think if the city put a feeler out, Live PD will start throwing money at us to get cameras here.

What sucks is some "community activists" are truly trying to do their part and keep kids from a life of crime while Reed just keeps running his mouth trying to remain a headline.

Did any of these community members say anything about the 18 year old that killed a man in cold blood after robbing him? Nope.
