Siegen and Interstate 10 pan handlers

I moved to Baton Rouge about a year ago and never noticed many there. They use to all hang around College and Interstate 10. Did the City of Baton Rouge run them outside the city limits?

The mayor of St. George is currently working on a task force to relocate them to Plank Rd.

They’ve been there forever. That’s one of their main places. Their pimp drives them to target and they disperse from there.

I don't know how they're doing these days, but last year they likely combined funds to match a normal white collar executive VP salary. They hit up the Target/chic Fil A stoplight and got medieval with begging.
I wouldn't doubt that 8 hours of "work" cleared each one roughly 250-300 per day. Do that 6 days a week and that's a meaningful job salary (tax free).

Had a guy tell me the same story at Seigen Chick Fil-a and called him out on it and he walked away a couple years ago.
