Yes. Just don't dehydrate the mushrooms with heat. They're worthless for Science experiments when they've been subjected to something you'd dehydrate a banana in.

I'm honestly shocked that people on here are totally unaware about growing spores. My BIL, and wife's cousin's husband grow them as well.

I performed a significant amount of life sciences research back in the 70's and learned how to transplant cow dung from loamy, moist pastures fields where a significant amount of psilocybin spores were apparent on foggy mornings, and "seed" other fields closer to me where I had ready access.
I wondered why one field of similar physical properties and head of cattle per acre would be rich in morning shrooms and another wouldn't. Turns out that the cattle hadn't been exposed to field where spores were present, but once introduced, the field started producing.
Sadly, those fields are all now residential subdivisions.
