I saw a standard, paper Christmas card for sale for $6.59. Almost $7 for a single card. And try finding any ‘normal’ card for less than $3 now. Most are closer to $5 per card.
No one is reading your shitty card grandpa. They only open it go take the money/gift card out.
Just go to Amazon and buy 32 for under $10 Amazon

Buy Mahogany cards. They’re for black people. Usually a few dollars cheaper than regular cards

my brother and his wife hired a professional photographer for his Christmas card photos which I thought was wild, but the pictures and the card were both very well done in my opinion
i think his wife was basically in charge of that

Saw that blacks also have their own bandaids. Good for them

I refuse to purchase birthday/holiday cards. I’ve never understood it. I have stationery that I’ll write a little note on and include with the gift.
Every card I’ve ever received has gone straight into the trash the second I got home.

I consulted for a guy who was selling four hallmark stores that his family owned over like 70 years.
Why was he selling? Lost money for last several years and he was ready to retire. Everyone buying cards at dollar tree or online.
He sold them to a company that owned dozens of hallmark stores. Said margins are low but a few consolidators are able to negotiate cheaper prices and pass it along to customers.

I'll fold a blank piece of paper and draw a crude happy birthday message on it like a toddler before I get a lavish greeting card .
This is one advantage of having young kids. “Look grandma, little Suzy drew your birthday card!”
